Learning to let go.

I try to remember when time's measure
painfully chafes, for instance when autumn
flares out at the last,
boisterous and like us longing
to stay
- how everything lives, shifting
from one bright vision to another, forever
in these momentary pastures.
---Mary Oliver,  American Primitive
Holding on tight...

into
the sunset of life.
Try not to hold on to tightly to that which
needs to go.
We must give way to the changing
season of our lives to remain new and growing.

Your third photo is wonderful. We really do need to move on, appreciating the treasures and beauty of each new season while storing up memories of seasons past.
