The fields are snowbound no longer;
ice is melting
and little running streams
beckon us to come close.
and little paws search once again
for a morsel of food.
and the sun creeps warmly into the forest,
touching bows and stems with golden fingers;
while the wind caresses the fields.
Listen---a cardinal is singing
Everything is trembling with excitement.
Could Spring possibly
be this close?
be this close?

The daffodil buds are poppiing out of the ground. I think I need to visit Tom. The snowdrops are probably blooming early. I will let you know!
Mother Earth's pulse seems to be beating just a little louder these days...Thanks for helping me to hear it better.
